On April 15, 2024, Jacques Himford, the Consul General of Vanuatu in Guangzhou, and his delegation visited the Qingzhou Island Deepwater Cage Farming Base in Shaba, Guangdong Province and Guangdong Shunxin Marine Fisheries Group Co., Ltd.

During the visit to the Qingzhou Island Deepwater Cage Farming Base in Shaba, Consul General Jacques Himford pointed out that deepwater cage farming technology has unique advantages and characteristics, which can effectively utilize marine resources and improve farming efficiency.

During his visit to Shunxin Ocean Fishery Group, Consul General Jacques Himford said that modern breeding methods not only increase production, but also focus on product quality and environmental protection; aquaculture and cold chain warehousing technology are also worthy of in-depth study.

Consul General Jacques Himford finally pointed out that he hoped to further promote in-depth cooperation between the fishery enterprises of Vanuatu and Yangjiang City and jointly promote the development of marine fishery.
