About the Consulate General of the Republic of Vanuatu in Guangzhou

In December 2022, the Consulate General of the Republic of Vanuatu in Guangzhou officially opened in Guangzhou, China. The current Consul General, Mr. Wu Zhijia, Mr.Himford Jacques, took office in September 2019. The consular districts cover Guangdong Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Fujian Province and Hainan Province.

As a key link in the relationship between Vanuatu and China, our embassy actively promotes the exchanges between the two governments and people, and cooperates in economy, culture, education, trade, investment, tourism, sports, administration and other aspects. At the same time, it also provides assistance to Fiji citizens in the service area of our consulate. The Consulate General of the Republic of Vanuatu in Guangzhou will make unremitting efforts to deepen the mutual understanding between the people of Vanuatu and China, and tap the potential of practical cooperation between the two countries to better benefit the people of both countries.
