On April 9, 2024, Consul General Jacques Himford attended the 10th China Guangzhou International Investment Annual Conference with the consular missions of various countries in Guangzhou with the theme of "Invest in Guangzhou, Invest in the Future". The event aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between various countries and Guangzhou.

The annual meeting announced the second batch of global partners investing in Guangzhou. This initiative aims to promote the implementation and development of Guangzhou’s investment projects around the world and inject new vitality into economic development.
