On March 15, 2024, Consul General Jacques Himford was invited to participate in the "Consular Forest" tree planting event in Zhaoqing and Qixingyan with the consular missions of various countries in Guangzhou, aiming to better understand Zhaoqing and promote development together.

Consul General Jacques Himford and officials from the consulates general of various countries in Guangzhou participated in the tree planting event in Qixingyan Scenic Area, adding new green to this beautiful consular forest.

Consul General Jacques Himford and officials from various consulates general in Guangzhou visited the Zhaoqing Museum and Zhaoqing Fenghua Hi-Tech Group Co., Ltd. While learning about the history, culture and traditional customs of Zhaoqing, they also gained a deeper understanding of the technological innovation, market demand and industrial chain of the electronic information industry.

After the event, Consul General Jacques Himford exchanged his experiences and feelings with officials from various consulates general in Guangzhou, and shared each other's culture and customs.

Consul General Jacques Himford said that he will continue to work hard to make more contributions to promoting the friendly relations between China and Vanuatu.
