On January 5, 2024, the Guangdong Federation of Commerce held the "2024 Guangdong Chinese and Foreign Business Spring Festival Conference and the 20th Anniversary Celebration Conference of the Guangdong Federation of Commerce". Jacques Himford, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Vanuatu in Guangzhou, was invited to attend.

The newly elected President Liu Suilong said that in the past 20 years, the Chamber of Commerce has always adhered to its basic purpose and worked hard to explore the road of building a strong modern chamber of commerce, and has achieved gratifying results in all aspects of work. 

The past 20 years have been 20 years of continuous expansion of the Chamber of Commerce, 20 years of continuous improvement of the Chamber of Commerce's influence, and 20 years of building the Chamber of Commerce's brand. 

Officials from foreign consulates general in Guangzhou, including the Consul General of Vanuatu, came on stage to toast.  

The Vanuatu government hopes to strengthen communication with Guangdong businessmen and deepen cultural and economic exchanges through this event.
